PAWS & PATHS TERMS OF SERVICE

OVERVIEW

This website and online store are operated by Paws & Paths (“Paws & Paths,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) using Shopify’s commerce platform. These Terms of Service govern your access to the website and your purchase and use of products or services offered through it. By visiting the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use the store. You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping any account credentials secure. Customer accounts are optional; eligible customers may check out as guests.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We work to display product descriptions, specifications, colors, images, availability, and pricing accurately. Displays and packaging may vary, and supplier or manufacturer updates may cause reasonable differences that do not materially change a product’s function. Products are intended for ordinary pet-care use and must be used under appropriate supervision and according to the product instructions. No product is a substitute for veterinary advice or treatment.

3. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

Your order is an offer to purchase. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, product unavailability, delivery restrictions, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel after payment is captured, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, and contact information. You are responsible for reviewing the shipping address and order details before submission. Contact us promptly if a correction is needed; changes are not guaranteed after fulfillment begins.

4. PRICES, PAYMENT, AND TAXES

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the store states otherwise. Applicable shipping charges and taxes are displayed during checkout before payment. Promotions may have separate eligibility requirements and may be changed or ended as permitted by law. Payment is processed by Shopify and the payment providers shown at checkout. We do not store complete payment-card details.

5. AVAILABILITY AND FULFILLMENT

Items may be fulfilled by vetted third-party logistics or supplier partners. Inventory can change quickly. We do not knowingly offer products when reliable availability cannot be confirmed, but an item may become unavailable after an order is placed. If that occurs, we will notify you and issue a refund or offer an alternative where appropriate.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, severe weather, address errors, customs, and other events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. Risk of loss transfers only as provided by applicable law. Contact us if tracking shows a delivery problem so we can help investigate with the carrier.

7. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The store’s branding, original text, graphics, layout, and other content are owned by or licensed to Paws & Paths and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names and marks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the site only for personal, non-commercial shopping. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit store content without written permission.

9. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may not use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity; interfere with the site’s security or operation; transmit malicious code; scrape or collect information in violation of law or site controls; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or attempt unauthorized access to any system. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store, Shopify, or others.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Shopify and other service providers support store hosting, payments, analytics, shipping, and related functions. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

12. DISCLAIMERS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Product warranties, if any, are those expressly provided in the product listing or by the manufacturer. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paws & Paths will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Paws & Paths and its service providers harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the site, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

15. CHANGES AND SEVERABILITY

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Material changes apply prospectively as required by law. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Florida, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available in your place of residence.
